It took me about a month to realize that the text on the scroll is Tengwar. That is awesome! But it raises a question, the part that we can see does it say anything?

Sweet! I was going to work on translating it soon. But that's cool! And I'm going to go out on a branch and guess that you know at least a little bit of sindarin? 8D

i write fic occasionally so i stared for hours at sindarin worksheets and dictionaries.... sobs so yes i know a bit. can't make full sentences worth a damn but i can do tiny phrases, haha. never without looking things up extensively though

That is so neat. Well I'm part of a website, CouncilofElrond.com they have both Sindarin and Quenya lessons (I'm working on learning Sindarin). And if lessons aren't for you, they have plenty of people who can speak the languages that are willing to help. That's if you haven't found this resource before. ^.^

i've been using those workbooks actually! just finding it difficult to syntax a language that isn't fully complete, i guess, and too busy to make more of an effort halshdj
